BUILDING WITH CONTEXT
I didn’t know much yet in my first year of architecture, but I did know that context was the foundation of every great design. The challenge was to create a circular structure housing a radio hub and a small studio, located in the heart of a park—a place where everyone passes by, nestled among the trees.
From the start, my intention was to make the building blend seamlessly into its surroundings. I didn’t want it to stand out; it should feel almost invisible, unnoticed by passersby. The design seeks to mimic its environment—an unassuming pavilion that quietly exists between the trees.
The structure gently touches the ground, barely disturbing the landscape, and seems to nestle itself naturally within the small forest. It’s not just a building; it becomes part of the park, respecting the rhythm of its surroundings while fulfilling its purpose discreetly.
